Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (“Policy”) will help you understand how Enabling Learning, LLC (“us”, “we”, “our”) uses and protects the data you provide to us when you visit and use EnablingLearning.com (“website”, “service”). Our website address is:

https://enablinglearning.com

We reserve the right to change this policy at any given time, of which you will be promptly updated. If you want to make sure that you are up to date with the latest changes, we advise you to frequently visit this page.

When you visit the website, we may collect the following data:

  • Your IP address.
  • Your contact information and email address.
  • Other information, such as interests and preferences.
  • Data profile regarding your online behavior on our website.

Why We Collect Your Data

We are collecting your data for several reasons:

  • To better understand your needs.
  • To improve our services and products.
  • To send you promotional emails containing the information we think you will find interesting.
  • To contact you to fill out surveys and participate in other types of market research.
  • To customize our website according to your online behavior and personal preferences.

The purposes of processing the data concerning the User are to allow the Owner to provide its Services, as well as for the following purposes: User database management, analytics, advertising, remarketing and behavioral targeting, contacting the user, content commenting, displaying content from external platforms, handling payments, hosting and backend infrastructure, tag management, and productivity.

We Collect Information About You During the Checkout Process in Our Store

What We Collect and Store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed.
  • Location, IP address, and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping.
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details, and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes such as to:

  • Send you information about your account and order.
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Set up your account for our store.
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes.
  • Improve our store offerings.
  • Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them.

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email, and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for 3 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses.

We will also store comments or reviews if you choose to leave them.

Subscription and Payment Data

If you purchase a subscription plan, we store your subscription status, plan type, billing cycle dates, and renewal history as part of your user account on our website. This information is necessary to manage your access to subscription courses and to process renewals.

Payment processing for subscriptions is handled by Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Payment credentials are stored and managed securely by these third-party processors. For details on how these processors handle your data, please review the Stripe Privacy Policy and the PayPal Privacy Policy.

We use FluentCRM, a self-hosted email marketing system that runs on our own servers (not a third-party SaaS platform), to manage subscription-related communications. These communications include welcome emails, renewal reminders, payment failure notices, and cancellation confirmations. Because these emails are transactional in nature and necessary for the administration of your subscription, they will be sent regardless of your marketing email preferences.

You may opt out of promotional and marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those messages or by updating your preferences in your account. However, you will continue to receive transactional emails related to your subscription status, billing, and account activity as long as your subscription is active.

Who on Our Team Has Access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent.
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds, and support you.

What We Share with Others

We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you; for example —

General Inquiries: info@enablinglearning.com

Praxitude AI — Specific Privacy Practices

This section supplements the general Privacy Policy above and applies to the knowledge and exam-preparation courses offered on the Praxitude AI platform (app.praxitude.ai), including our PLD/FT certification-preparation course. Praxitude AI is a brand of Enabling Learning, LLC. Controller: Enabling Learning, LLC, 554 Arthur Drive, Lavon, TX 75166, United States; contact info@enablinglearning.com.

What we collect

When you purchase or use one of these courses, we collect: account information (your name, email, and the password you set); usage data within the platform (lessons read, responses to practice questions and exams, conversations with the AI tutor “Praxi”, progress and completion); and technical data (IP address used for security and rate-limiting, browser user-agent, timestamps).

Payments, invoicing, and our Merchant of Record

For courses sold in Latin America, Hotmart (Hotmart.com) acts as our Merchant of Record: Hotmart hosts the checkout, processes your payment, applies the corresponding tax (e.g., IVA in Mexico), and sends you a factura (invoice) for your purchase. If you need your RFC on the invoice, enter it in the Hotmart checkout. Enabling Learning, LLC is a U.S. company and does not itself issue Mexican tax receipts (CFDI); any invoice is issued by Hotmart under its own processes and terms — please review the Hotmart Privacy Policy. For purchases made directly on EnablingLearning.com, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.

How we use it

To create and grant access to your course account, run the platform and its AI tutor, send you operational emails (such as your create-password link and account notices), and respond to your support requests. We do not sell your personal data, share it with advertisers, or use your personal content to train AI models. If we analyze learner activity to improve course quality, we do so in aggregate.

Automated evaluation

Some practice and exam responses are scored automatically by AI, and some badges/certificates are issued automatically on completion. These scores are for study purposes and are not an official result. If you believe a score is in error, contact us for human review.

Sub-processors

We use: Hotmart (checkout, payment, and invoicing as Merchant of Record for Latin America), Stripe (payment for direct EnablingLearning.com purchases), Anthropic and OpenAI (power the “Praxi” AI tutor and AI-based evaluation), Hetzner Cloud (platform backend and database), Amazon SES (transactional email), and POK Digital Credentials (badges and certificates, where applicable).

Praxi (AI tutor) — what to know

Praxi is an AI tutor grounded only in the course’s approved material. When you message Praxi, your message and the relevant course context are sent to our AI provider’s API. Under our agreements with these providers, your content is not used to train their models; it is processed to generate the response and may be retained by the provider for a limited period for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We log the conversation in our database so the tutor can maintain context. Praxi is an AI and can be wrong; it is a study tool, not a substitute for professional judgment. Please do not paste sensitive personal data into the chat.

International transfers

Your data is processed in the United States and the European Union by the sub-processors named above (for example, platform data on Hetzner in Germany; AI processing and email in the United States), and by Hotmart for payment. These providers are engaged under confidentiality and, for the AI providers, no-training terms.

Where data is stored, and how long

Your account and progress data are stored on our servers (Hetzner Cloud), retained for your access period plus a reasonable window in case you renew. Order and invoice records are held by the payment processor and by us for the period required by applicable tax law. Backups are encrypted.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, cancellation (deletion), objection (the “ARCO” rights under Mexican law), portability, or to withdraw your consent at any time, and you may object to secondary purposes such as service-improvement analytics or marketing. To exercise any of these, email info@enablinglearning.com from the email on your account; we respond as promptly as possible. If you are in Mexico, you may also contact the INAI; if you are in the EU, UK, or California, we honor your additional statutory rights.

Adults only

Praxitude AI courses are intended for professionals and other adult learners and are not directed to children.

TSI Prep — Specific Privacy Practices

This section supplements the general Privacy Policy above and applies specifically to the TSI Prep web application, accessible at apps.enablinglearning.com/tsia2-prep/.

What we collect

When you purchase or use TSI Prep, we collect: account information (your name, email, and password set on enablinglearning.com); payment information (processed by Stripe and/or PayPal; we do not store credit card numbers); usage data within the App (responses to practice questions, essay submissions, conversations with Verónica, daily usage counts, progress per topic); diagnostic and assessment data; and technical data (IP address used for rate-limiting, browser user-agent, timestamps).

We do not collect your geolocation beyond country level, and we do not request access to contacts, calendar, photos, microphone, or camera.

How we use it

To run the App, enforce daily usage limits, improve question quality in aggregate, send operational emails about your account, and respond to your support requests. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, use it to train AI models for use outside the App, or target advertising to you based on your in-app activity.

Sub-processors

We use the following third-party services: OpenAI (powers Verónica and essay scoring; configured with no-data-retention-for-training terms), Supabase (Postgres database, EU region), Hetzner Cloud (App backend, Germany), SiteGround / Cloudflare (enablinglearning.com), Stripe and / or PayPal (payment processing), FluentCRM (operational email automation), and POK Digital Credentials (badges and certificates).

Where data is stored

Account and progress data is stored in the European Union (Supabase EU region, Hetzner Germany). Order records and account credentials are stored on US servers (SiteGround). Backups are encrypted and held for up to 30 days.

How long we keep it

Active subscription: all your data is retained for the duration. After expiry: account and progress data is retained for 12 months in case you renew. After 12 months of inactivity: data is purged on a quarterly cleanup cycle, unless you have asked us to keep it. Order records: kept indefinitely for tax compliance.

Verónica (AI tutor) — what to know

Verónica is built on OpenAI models. When you message her, your message is sent to OpenAI's API along with relevant context from your session. OpenAI does not retain or train on your messages. We log the conversation in our database so the tutor can have memory across sessions. Verónica is an AI; she can be wrong. She is not a substitute for a teacher, a counselor, or a professional. Do not paste sensitive personal data into the chat.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for high-school students (typically 14-19) preparing for the TSIA2. The cardholder (typically a parent, or the student themselves if 18+) is the contracting party. If you are under 13, you should not use this App. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, we will honor reasonable requests to access, correct, delete, or export the data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email info@enablinglearning.com from the email address on your account. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional statutory rights; we honor those.

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords with industry-standard algorithms, protect API endpoints with HMAC-signed requests, and rate-limit login attempts. We do not store credit card numbers; our payment provider does, under PCI-DSS.

Cookies

We use cookies for keeping you logged in (session cookie), remembering your language preference (persistent cookie), and anti-CSRF tokens. We do not use third-party analytics cookies inside the App.

Changes

When we make a material change to this section, we will email registered users and post the updated date at the top of this page.
